Der Geothermiekongress 2017 findet vom 12.-14. September 2017 in der BMW Welt in München statt. Die Stadt München und ihre Umgebung stehen für die erfolgreiche Nutzbarmachung von Erdwärme. Der Kongress ist der Treffpunkt der deutschen Geothermiebranche und bietet eine geeignete Plattform für den internationalen Austausch. Der Geothermiekongress dient dem Wissenstransfer, der Diskussion sowie dem Kontakt mit WissenschaftlerInnen, UnternehmensvertreterInnen und ExpertInnen aus der Geothermie.

Der DGK 2017 findet auch international immer mehr Beachtung. Neben dem Partnerland Österreich wird der globale Austausch in diesem Jahr durch die Partnerregion Mittelamerika verstärkt. Unterstützt wird diese Kooperation durch die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

Call for Papers: Vortragseinreichungen bis Ende März möglich

Noch bis zum 31. März besteht die Möglichkeit Beiträge für die Präsentationen des Kongresses einzureichen, die anschließend durch ein wissenschaftliches Komitee ausgewählt und zusammengestellt werden. Deutschsprachige sowie englischsprachige Vorträge sind herzlich willkommen.

Universitäre Forschungsarbeit trifft auf angewandte Praxis

Das DGK-Programm bietet eine breite Vernetzung von Erkenntnissen aus Praxis und Forschung. Den Auftakt macht am 12. September der Workshoptag. Bisher stehen diese Themen fest:

// EEG Erfahrungsbericht
// Oberflächennahe Geothermie in Österreich

Die Kongresstage liefern am 13./14. September Vorträge zur Oberflächennahen und Tiefen Geothermie. Das Programm wird vom wissenschaftlichen Komitee aus den Einreichungen aus dem Call for Papers zusammengestellt. Zusätzlich werden renommierte Redner in Keynotes in die Themenblöcke einführen. Die junge Geothermie bietet JungwissenschaftlerInnen mit der Science Bar einen Ort zum Austausch und Netzwerken. Mit Posterbeiträgen können sie ihre Abschlussarbeiten vorstellen und sich um den Science Bar-Preis bewerben.

German Geothermal Congress 2017

The German Geothermal Congress 2017 takes place from the12^th until the 14^th of September at the BMW Welt in Munich. Munich and its surroundings stand for the successful valorization and use of geothermal energy. The Congress is the meeting point of the German geothermal sector and a suitable platform for an international knowledge exchange. The Congress will be visited by scientists, organizations, enterprises and agencies of the geothermal and related sectors.

In addition to the partner country Austria, Central America will be participating at the Congress as a partner region. The global knowledge exchange during the Congress will be broadened with the help of international partners and supported by organisations like the German Society for international cooperation (GIZ).

The Call for Papers- Submission possible until the end of March

Until the 31^th of March scientific papers can be handed in for presentations during the Congress. A scientific committee judges and arranges the papers of scientists, experts of organisations and agencies to create a diversified programme. Presentations can be held in German or English.

Institutional research meets applied practice

The programme of the Congress offers a wide networking of scientific findings in case of practice and research. The GGC starts with a day of workshops (12^th of September).

The Congress continues with two informative days of lectures (13^th and 14^th September) on shallow as well as deep geothermal energy. Furthermore, renowned scientists and experts will give keynotes as an introduction for the different topics. The Science Bar offers a good opportunity for young scientists to discuss various topics and to network. By presenting their research thesis, they apply for Science Bar prize, which will be awarded during the Congress.
